The latest release of CoLocalizer Pro version 5 now fully supports iCloud. For users who do not use iCloud Drive and iPad, this enhancement may not seem significant, but it is quite important.
Previously, while it was possible to save CoLocalizer images to iCloud Drive, any edits made to an image on a Mac would not update the file stored in iCloud Drive. If you needed the edited image in your iCloud Drive, you had to manually select "Save As..." for each new edited file, repeating this process for every modified image.
With CoLocalizer Pro version 5 and newer, you now have the option to save your images in the .colocalizer file format. This allows you to open a CoLocalizer image file from any location, such as iCloud Drive or another Mac, edit the image, and save your changes directly to the same document.
Additionally, the new iCloud support enables CoLocalizer for iPad to access images. This means you can work on images edited by CoLocalizer Pro on a Mac on your iPad and continue editing where you left off. CoLocalizer images will always be up-to-date and saved across devices.
To our knowledge, CoLocalizer is the first professional scientific image analysis app to offer full iCloud support, and we take great pride in this achievement.
